Hi Robyn,
I'm new to the list too, and have been just lurking for the past 2 weeks. I
thought about using voice recognition software for interviewing subjects,
too. I called a dealer for the software and was told that persons using the
software have to go through voice training so that the software can
recognize the speech. Obviously this would not be conducive to
interviewing a wide variety of subjects. Hopefully such software will be
available one day.
Good luck in your transcriptions, and if you come across something helpful,
please let the rest of us know!
