Hi,
I am a comp.sci. researcher currently interested in the movement of the
eyes for the purposes of animating artificial actors in the context of
film production. As always in computer graphics, this is the "inverse
problem" of this list's topic (or, from the perspective of us computer
graphics people, you guys are the ones working on the inverse problem
:) ), in that the idea is to synthetically produce something that looks
real, rather than capturing and analysing reality.
I would like the list's advice on the following:
- Would you know of any resources which might be helpful in this
respect? I have read Part 1 of Carpenter's Movements of the Eyes, and
this was very helpful.
- Is there any prior works on this subject? I have heard that some
people are working on this at McGill University, unfortunately I don't
even have a name to look up.
Thanks,
