Further information about the course contents:

INTRODUCTION TO CROSSFIRE
An introductory course, aimed at all new and potential CrossFire
users, covering the basics of the database and how to search by fact
or structure. Suitable for chemists and non-chemists. The
session will include presentations about the background to the
database and support from MIMAS and demonstrations of CrossFire.
There will also be a substantial hands-on session in which all
participants will be encouraged to use the CrossFire system for
themselves.

GETTING MORE FROM CROSSFIRE
More advanced features of the system, such as reaction searching,
stereochemistry and use of generic groups will be described for
chemists with some experience of using CrossFire (or who have
attended the introductory course). Participants will also be
introduced to the new EcoPharm information in CrossFire, the
CrossFire for Excel client and AutoNom. A substantial part of the
course will again be hands-on practice and we will be pleased to help
with any problems you may be experiencing with CrossFire.

To register for any of these courses complete the electronic
registration form on the web at
http://www.mimas.ac.uk/courses/ or if you have
problems with this please send an e-mail to [log in to unmask]
with your name, university, department, e-mail address, phone number
