Just to clarify Jo Ann's response--the famous Antioch chalice, claimed by
some to be the Holy Grail (it supposedly levitated one Easter Sunday while
on view at The Cloisters, according to legend) is now downtown at The
Metropolitan Museum of Art (of which The Cloisters is a branch). It is
not on view at present since the Early Christian/Byzantine corridor is
being renovated. According to a recent theory, it is not a chalice at all
but rather a lamp.
