Can anyone offer some words of wisdom on how 2 people can share the coding
of a project in Nvivo...?
My colleague and I are doing some joint interviews for which we will be
using Nvivo to code the data. We will have data from a number of sources -
our main participants are 'workers', though we will also be interviewing
their household members and some colleagues and managers.
We are puzzling over ways to share the coding between us and have so far
come up with 4 ideas - none of which are that great
* both code separately and share our experiences at the end
* take it in turns to do coding
* separate the 'workers' and 'others' into different Nvivo projects so
while one is working in the 'workers' the other person could be working on
'others'
* while one works electronically the other one could print out some
transcripts and code manually - later putting it into nvivo
Besides moving to different software (which is not an option), can anyone
offer advice..?

Karina
