Might I suggest that submitted with each dissertation the committee also
asks for a copy of the regulations for dissertations as given to
undergraduate students at each institution. This would increase the ability
of the committee to make an informed decision.

The RGS-IBG Urban Geography Research Group (UGRG)Undergraduate
Dissertation Prize:
50 pounds is awarded annually for the best undergraduate urban
geography dissertation.
Can examiners/departments please send copies of suitable
dissertations for this prize to Loretta Lees (Chair of the UGRG) at
the address below.
The deadline for this competition is 20th July 2000.
The results of this competition will be available in early August
2000.
Apologies for the late advertisement, but hopefully all exam meetings
will be over now (we just had ours today) and department's will have
a good idea of strong candidates.
