Dear maillist members,
Hello. I hope that all is going well with you. And thank you very much for
those who responded to my previous questions on Anglo-India and Kay
Robinson.
Here i have two more questions, for the answers to which i count on your
expertise on Kipling.
1)Thomas Pinney, in his introduction to Something of Myself (Cambridge UP,
1990), mentioned Kipling's writing "Home"(p. viii). Could you kindly tell me
in which volume i can find this piece?
2)Peter Keating, in his Kipling the Poet, explains that Kipling's verse "A
Song of the English" was written to commemorate the launch of the Imperial
Institute (99). What sort of institute was it? Where can i find some
references to it?
I am looking forward to hearing your answers, and have a nice weekend!!
Sincerely,
Shizen
