INTO WORK: DISABLED PEOPLE IN TOURISM, LEISURE & HERITAGE
CONFERENCE TUESDAY 27th JUNE 2000
9.30am - 3.30pm
The Windmill Village Hotel, Coventry
The aim of the Into Work conference is to discuss issues concerned with
improving access to employment for disabled people in the tourism,
leisure and heritage sector. The conference will begin with a keynote
address from a prominent member of the Tourism sector. Conference
contributors include Maundy Todd, Director of the 'Tourism For All
Consortium', Steven Springer, Regional Manager, Grooms Holidays, Sally
Reynolds of 'Access Tourism', the Employers' Network on Disability, and
Springboard
UK among others. To highlight examples of good practice in the field,
the
conference programme will also include case-studies from Tourism sector
organisations.
Additionally, various relevant organisations will be present to provide
information about their services.
