Compliments, Ben D, for this compilation of important studies.
Going through the list, I was thinking about the TURP (trans-urethral
resection of prostate) vs. open prostatectomy debate in the treatment of
benign hyperplasia of prostate (BHP). One of the outcomes of that debate was
confirmation of TURP as an established method of treating BHP.
Concato and Feinstein in their non-randomized study strengthened the case
for TURP. Now that TURP is so widely used for the treatment of BHP, can
their original article be included in the list of important non-randomized
trials? I am including some key references.

Dear Ben,
Hearty congratulations for putting this list together and making it
available to all of us. I see many useful applications of this list of
articles that led to changes in clinical practice....
