Nope.
I am part of a self-advocacy group for people with acquired brain
injury. If you described my peers as having an intellectual
disability, most of us would be *very* upset! If you say we have
"learning difficulties", tho-- many of us would be quite comfortable.
The term "intellectual disability" correctly covers people who:
* acquired their disability before the age of 18
* have an IQ of 70 or under
* have "significantly below average adaptive functioning"
