As you'd expect, the reply from the EUR-Lex helpdesk is informative and
helpful. It seems a pity that EUR-OP doesn't try to make this sort of
information available on the website itself. Similarly with Celex, where
technical problems abound, but no explanation or information about these is
ever provided on the site.
There appears to be a reluctance to make any public reference to the
existence of technical problems or deficiencies. But surely users would
react more sympathetically to an honest explanation of the problems than to
the total lack of information that just leaves them feeling mystified and
frustrated.
Can EUR-OP be persuaded to improve its communication policy regarding
technical problems, I wonder?
