Torje - thanks, that's really interesting. What is the best method to
stretch the Piriformis?

If anyone wants to subscribe to the Sportscience list, here are some
details:
WHAT IS SPORTSCIENCE?
A mailing list for everyone interested in the science of physical
performance. Sportscience began life in December 1994 as sportsci, a list
served by the majordomo mail processor. In December 1995 it became
SPORTSCIENCE, served by listproc.
Sportscience operates in moderated-no-edit mode, which means that all
messages sent to the list are sent to moderators. The moderators decide
whether the message can be sent to the list, but cannot change the message
in any way. Moderators are selected from subscribers by a democratic
process from time to time. We operate the list in this way to prevent
unauthorised advertisements and other inappropriate messages from being
distributed to subscribers.
WHO SHOULD SUBSCRIBE? The list is intended primarily for academics and
research students, but coaches, athletes, or others with a background or
interest in sport and exercise science are welcome. The list is "open",
which means people can join without requiring approval of the list owner
or moderators. Please forward this file to anyone you think might be
interested in subscribing.
HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?
