Subject: Congress Programs
PLEASE X-POST
I am very happy to announce that the programs for the
35th International Congress at Western Michigan arrived from the
printer late Friday afternoon. Yesterday (=Monday) nearly 800 programs
left the office to enter the US mail system, headed for those individuals
who ordered priority mail service. Programs directed to Canada, first
class, and to outside of North America, airmail, will leave the office
tomorrow morning (=Tuesday). The professional mailing service we use to
process bulk mail is about to work on the several thousand programs that
make their way to U.S. addresses via bulk mail. Once again, bulk mail is
inexpensive, but slow; those who need or prefer faster service can always
sign on for priority [U.S. only!].
By now over 50 people have registered, mainly off the website.
Our database of interested individuals is now over 9100. If we do not have
your correct address, then receipt of the program is problematical; if you
have left no forwarding order with the postal system, it is not likely to
transmail the program to your current address. MI staff work on updating
the database throughout the year, and this year's list, larger than ever,
is also more correct than ever.
The Congress program, tutto incluso, comes in at about 306 pp.
If your e-mail file were big enough, I could then thank the many
individuals both within and without the Institute who made it possible for
us to be one month ahead of last year's distribution calendar and the
earliest in about the last five years.
