I'm with most on list, those that deplore
simulations.
I'm also inclined to think that the simulation
described below - of guide dog trainers - might have
some merit. As I've thought that it would be useful to
provide simulation excercises for architects,
designers, and engineers to give them some experience
with the use of wheelchairs on ramps, in tight spaces
etc. or experience with using non-visual cues to
navigate space etc. The more directed and pragmatic,
the more I am inclined to support them. As for the
personal, emotional, political or social experience -
I agree with someone yesterday who said - let 'em take
