to not to be able to answer it in any learned detail.

As for the non-gendered Finnish third person pronouns, it has not really
done much difference in Finnish theological thinking, because the semantics
of language & other cultural practices still convey the gendered notions of,
for example, Divinity.
Anyway, congratulations on your being able to read the "grocery list" level
(as you put it) Finnish -that is already an achievement.
