Dear Ms. Wright,
If you are looking for a codex about things Venetian, you have
probably found it. However, there is a much more famous one by the same
author. He wrote a 12-book "De praestantia doctorum," which soon became
legendary (i.e. it was cited but not seen) until 1748, when a copy of liber
9 turned up, which has been one of the prime sources for the lives of
medieval Roman and Canon lawyers. See F. C. von Savigny, GESCHICHTE DES
ROMISCHEN RECHTS IM MITTELALTER, iii (1834/1961), 42, ff.
