Note from the Directorate:
DC Folk,
The DCMI Update is part of our attempt to improve communication in our
globally distributed collaboration. The Update will chronicle the
highlights of ongoing activities, serving as a digest of the work of the
initiative, and providing some additional features that we hope will come
from our readership. Starting with the next issue, we'll be providing short
profiles of some of the folks who keep the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative
going as well.
Please consider sending us a summary of your DC application or a note on the
impact the Dublin Core has had in your information environment. We hope
this newsletter will be both interesting and useful, and welcome your
feedback and contributions.
