THE INTERNATIONAL TELEDEMOCRACY CENTRE
The International Teledemocracy Centre is developing a suite of
computer-based tools to realise interactive democracy and support the
democratic decision-making process. Napier University established the
Centre in August 1999 in partnership with BT Scotland. Researchers
with a strong background in information and communication technologies
and an interest in parliamentary democracy are now sought.
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
(FIXED TERM FOR TWO YEARS, IN THE FIRST INSTANCE)
£20,810 (Fixed Point)
You will take a leading role developing our interactive democracy
tool-set. You will be comfortable working in a rapid application
development environment. Working with leading experts from Napier
University and BT Systems Development Unit, you will have a good
honours degree and research experience related to Computer Science
and/or Artificial Intelligence.
