| For VBM we normalized and segmented T1 images with SPM.
| Thereafter we binarized the segmented images with IDL
| getting images with intensities of 0 or 255. When displaying
| these images within SPM one would expect intensities of 0
| and 1. Surprisingly we get intensities between 0 and 1 (at
| edges).
|
| Dimensions: 156 x 189 x 136
| Datatype: uint8
| Voxel size: 1 x 1 x 1
| Intensity: V = 0.00392157 X
|
| We checked the binarization we did within IDL and feel
| certain about this processing step.
|
| Is this a problem of the graphical display? Any other ideas?
By default, the <Display> function samples the data for displaying using
trilinear interpolation. If you switch to nearest neighbour interpolation,
then the values you see should be either 0 or 1. Alternatively, sample
intensities right at the centres of the voxels.
