On the issue of SPECT templates:
SPM99 comes with a SPECT template which I have started using with
very satisfactory results. Even if you are using SPM96 you could
download
SPM99 and copy the SPECT template in your templates directory.
If that's not possible you could use the PET template in SPM96.
The differences between using the PET template and the SPECT template
constructed by us were really small. This is true for adult brains.
I would agree with Mike Glabus (see below) on the pediatric template
issue.
