Part-time PhD in Educational Research for professionals in HE/FE.

Designed for academics and academic managers from all disciplinary backgrounds,
working within HE or FE, this structured doctoral programme will enable you to:
* acquire research skills
* develop your own area of research
* improve your publication portfolio
* analyse professional practice
Mode of study: five assessed modules and a dissertation
Tutor/peer contact: four one week residentials per year for first two years,
four shorter residentials per year in years three and four. Year round use of
e-mail and electronic conferencing plus supervision.
Study duration: four years
Programme starts: 8 January 2001
