ANNOUNCEMENT:
Tulip Graduate School on Modern Developments in Spectroscopy
1-4 May 2001, Noordwijk, The Netherlands
In the spring of 2001 a new graduate school will be organized on
Modern Developments in Spectroscopy.
Highly qualified scientists will present introductory and specialized
lectures on various topics in the field of spectroscopic and dynamical
studies of molecular systems. The topics range from high-resolution
frequency resolved spectroscopic applications, time-resolved applications
such as femtosecond coherent control and pulse shaping, ultrafast condensed
phase dynamics in hydrogen-bonded systems, imaging of chemical reaction
dynamics, single molecule spectroscopy, and spectroscopy and dynamics in
cold superfluid He matrices.
The courses will be given by the following invited lecturers:
Dr. Huib Bakker, AMOLF Institute Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Prof. Thomas Baumert, University of Kassel, Germany
Dr. David Chandler, Sandia National Laboratories, USA
Dr. Edgar Groenen, Leiden University, The Netherlands
