I would be interested to hear from anyone who has found a simple way of
restricting access to free email sites from workstations in their
libraries. We have agrowing problem with users bashing away at Hotmail
or Yahoomail and preventing users who wish to use the workstations for
database searching, essay writing etc.
Our workstations are NT4 and we use Netscape. We are in the process of
planning a revamp of our public netork, but would like to do something
to cut down on this use of our machines reasonably quickly.
Any information or suggestions gratefully received, and I will forward
any findings to the list.
Tim
