Very much related to I would be very interested to hear
about libraries' experiences on the reliability/quality of
different makers' machines. We have had Xerox for years -
our machines are hammered all day every day and the quality
and reliability deteriorate well within the period of the
contract.
Has anyone found the Holy Grail of Photocopiers - a machine
that copies all day and every day without fouling up or
producing black sooty copies? We reckon 2 years to be a
good innings.
I would also be interested in the contract business. Our
machines are curently managed by our academic services
department but we are thinking about doing it ourselves
Thank you
