dictionaries, thesauri, books of quotations, and subject
based reference works. On entering a keyword or phrase, a
range of reference material such as definitions, synonyms,
and details of usage are returned.
Learned Publishing
Full text version of the journal from 1997 onwards,
available free of charge. Contains articles covering major
publishing issues such as peer review, consortia, linking,
copyright, and licensing, and offers an email alerting
service for new issues.
Electronic Book Evaluation Project
Project investigating services offered to libraries by
publishers within the electronic book industry considering
licensing issues, applications, practicality, and marketing
strategies, with a view to improving the relationship
between the two parties. Provides access to patron survey
results, a PowerPoint presentation describing the

The jake (Jointly Administered Knowledge Environment )
comprises a searchable collection of database indices and
journal citations held within them. Based on volume number,
