Data Capture Supervisor, Manchester, England
A leading, UK based GIS data capture and consultancy company, are
seeking a ‘Data Capture Supervisor’. The position will be based in
Manchester, England. Only those with a valid European Economic Area
(EEA) Passport or United Kingdom work permit need apply.
The successful applicant will be experienced in the use of GIS software,
preferably MapInfo, and have the ability to work unsupervised. General
IT skills will be an advantage. The quality of the work undertaken is
of paramount importance and a diligent approach is essential.
Occasionally the supervisor will be expected to manage and deliver small
projects, and undertake quality control procedures.
This contract is a fixed term contract from 18th September 2000 to 16th
March 2001 (specifically to cover a maternity leave period). This
contract will be reviewed at the end of this period and there is a
possibility of the contract continuing. The job is based on 40 hours per
week. Core working hours are 08:45 to 17:15 but some flexibility may be
required. Salary will be commensurate with experience in the region of
£10k to £14k p.a. pro-rata.
