As an independent GIS training and consultancy company
Sological Solutions has gone from strength to strength
in providing high quality technical consultancy, data
services and GIS training.

Sological Solutions has provided GIS training in
ArcView (and related components) software since
January, 1997.  Training in MapInfo Professional
software has been provided since June 1999.  The
quality of Sological Solutions training and training
course contents has been proven by companies returning
time and time again in order to fulfil their GIS
training needs.

Due to this success we are looking for a committed and
enthusiastic candidate to fill the following position.

GIS Trainer/Developer

The successful candidate will work as part of a small
team but must be self motivated and able to work
independently.  A large proportion of your time will
be spent on providing GIS training and dealing with
training related matters.  However you will also be
involved in product development and product sales.

In addition to having excellent presentation skills,
experience with some or all of the following is
required: - ArcView, MapInfo, Avenue, MapBasic, Visual
Basic, Web based development.  

Previous training experience is desirable but not
essential.  A degree qualification in GIS would be an
advantage.

Salary to reflect skills and experience.

This post will be on an 18 month fixed term contract
in the first instance with the possibility of
extension or a permanent post.  You will be based in
Nottingham.
