Dear All,
I seem to have a quandary. I am writing a report on the maintenance of my
institutions' disaster plans and want to say that they should be very widely
available within the School. However, because they will contain home
telephone numbers etc. am aware that they should be kept securely - and this
seems to be in conflict with wide availability.
I think that provided the people whose numbers will be needed give their
consent, it might be OK since the paper copies could be kept securely. I
also want to put the plans on a networked drive accessible by all
administrative staff so that copies could be quickly printed off and in case
all paper copies get lost/destroyed and I am not sure how secure data could
be described if it is accessible to over 100 people who are unlikely ever to
need access to it.
Can anyone help me square this circle?
Many Thanks
Matthew Stephenson
