Welcome to INET 2001
It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to Stockholm, Sweden and
the 11th Annual Conference of the Internet Society, INET 2001.
Sweden, a European leader in Internet usage, is widely recognized as one
of the hottest spots in Europe for securing Internet companies and
services. Sweden is a leader in the mobile communications area, which of
course includes mobile Internet usage and services.
INET 2001 will be held in the beginning of June, the most beautiful time
of the year in Sweden with an attractive climate and average day and
night temperatures of around 20 degrees C (68 degrees F). While in
Stockholm, we urge you to take the opportunity to explore this beautiful
city located on fourteen islands. It is perfect for sightseeing with the
picturesque old town a comfortable walking distance from the city
center. There is also a myriad of exciting restaurants and shops. A
fascinating and exciting city awaits to be discovered!
