The later releases of the make_processor_model program (beyond, oh,
about 1.30 or so) will automatically diagnose a processor. It
_should_ be able to find all integer and real kinds. make_pm
writes a module containing the kinds found (and a bunch of other
processor defined and standard defined stuff as well).
You still have to write up a little input file (namelist), but that's
if you want to define logical kinds and character kinds.
(By default, make_pm assumes ascii_k = 1, which isn't certain,
but nobody's complained about that particular guess yet ;-)
