Load the document into word, it will be converted from html, you can then do
a word count. Alternatively load it in an html editor such as FrontPage,
then copy and paste into word. Another possibility would be to load it in
the browser and do the same.

Subject: Web site word count
Hi group,
One of our lecturers is submitting an academic Web site for the RAE and
needs to give a fairly accurate word count, the site is quite large and it
would be a long job to import everything into word! Has anyone heard of a
smart way to calculate the plain text word count?
Regards,
Julie
