Abstract
Are you an academic or learning technologist involved in the process
of embedding C&IT into learning and teaching within your institution?
The EFFECTS Project has developed a framework, which recognises staff
development in embedding learning technologies. A number of
institutions have already developed programmes, which can offer you
accreditation. We are also working with ALT and SEDA to provide a
nationally recognised a CPD route for staff using learning
technologies.
This workshop will provide you with the first step in starting to
collate your current experience and identify your future CPD
requirements. As a part of the workshop you will be asked to draw
upon examples of work you have undertaken, and identify specific
evidence, which you can use to start to build a reflective
developmental portfolio of evidence. The workshop will also explore
the demand for further workshops to assist you in developing your
portfolio for recognition under a national scheme.
