Colleagues:
I'm pleased to announce the New York Academy of Medicine Library's first
web-based online exhibit:
A TELLING OF WONDERS: TERATOLOGY IN WESTERN MEDICINE THROUGH 1800
The "live" version of this exhibit, prepared by former Acting Curator of
Rare Books Caroline Duroselle-Melish, was on display in the library's main
reading room earlier this year. John Orth, student assistant in the
Historical Collections department, working with Caroline before she left
the Academy, did most of the technical work involved in mounting the
exhibit. We are also grateful to webmaster Gregg Headrick for his
assistance in this endeavor.
Please visit the exhibit at www.nyam.org/history/indexteratology.htm
