Dear SPMer,
I'm a new researcher in Jockey Club MRI Engineering Centre, University of
Hong Kong. We have a batch of data which I need to put in SPM99. The
file is from latest LX machine and we retrieve the data from AW
workstation through ftp.
I search the mailbase and find no suitable converter of LX filetype (LX
file is very different from Signa 5.X). LX file is more close to DICOM
but not exactly the same. I'd need some help to deal with the orientation
of GE system to SPM. Is the patient orientation tag in DICOM useful to
determine this?
For your info, the patient orientation info from LX DICOM header of an
Axial cut (I->S) is:
[1.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000, 1.0000, 0.0000]
while an oblique Axial cut (S->I) and (P->A) is:
[1.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000, 0.9273, -0.3744]
Any help is appreciated.
Best,
Kelvin
