Information for Scotland 7 is the seventh annual conference on the
information needs of the citizens of Scotland, and the management and
planning required to meet those needs.  This year the conference is being
held at Edinburgh University Library on 16 November.  For further details

At previous Information for Scotland conferences, organisations and projects
have been invited to host poster sessions which are viewed by delegates and
speakers during refreshment breaks and lunchtime.  This year, the organisers
are planning the customary poster session and they have also secured PC and
internet facilities so that organisations and projects can demonstrate their
work.

If your organisation is interested in hosting a poster/web session, please
contact Gill Hamilton ([log in to unmask]) in the first instance.
Please supply Gill with details of your work/project/initiative and indicate
if you want to host a poster session; a web session or both.  Further
information and guidance is given below.
Please be aware that Gill is unavailable from 13-23 October, she will
however respond to all that have indicated an interest by 24 October.

General information
Individuals involved in poster/web sessions will not be admitted to the
conference unless they have paid the Conference fee.
Individuals involved in poster/web sessions who require refreshments and
lunch will be charged £10 per person.

Poster sessions
Display boards will be supplied
Poster space is restricted to 3 x A3 posters or 5 x A4
All posters must be mounted before 0930 on 16 Nov.  Access will be available
from 1700-1800 on 15 Nov and 0900 on 16 Nov.
If you are unable to mount your posters personally, arrangements can be made
for the organisers to display them on your behalf.

Web sessions
10 PCs are available for demonstration purposes
A high speed internet connection is available
No technical support will be supplied
