We were discussing Megalab, part of Science Week, in the public
understanding bunker this morning. This is the mass experiment run by the
Daily Telegraph and BBC's Tomorrow's World. Does anyone have any views on
the value of these experiments in promoting science, public understanding of
science or even public confidence in science? They seemed good five years
ago but are they now past their sell-by date? Any better ideas?
Andy
PS: The guys in the public understanding bunker had real trouble with the
Megahound test as all the owners look the same. See page 14 of the Daily
Telegraph or Tomorrow's World at 8 on BBC1.
And thank you all for your "Out of Office Autoreply" messages. I will donate
them to a good cause :-)
