Dear Ram,
I'm with Susan with regard to local programming.
Further, I can't promise to deliver poets who 'best represent their
country or city' or who will be 'at their best'. On the contrary, the
reading series I'm involved in is distinctly and happily unrepresentative
of the city and country, a small street life side show with an accidental
audience and a handful of regular readers. It is representative only in
the series there's no other series in town; the other writers save
themselves for 'literary festivals'.
