I am not sure if this came to me via this mail list - but for researchers,
designers and educators - it is interesting, so i take the liberty in a possible
repost.

Hi!
We would like to bring our new site: http://www.biopolymer.net to your
attention, a new initiative by B!PP (http://www.bipp.nl).
It is the starting point for information regarding biopolymers and related,
all information one click away! Ideal for designers and already listed at
the O2 site International Network for Sustainable Design
(http://www.o2.org, best sites products & materials)!!
Biopolymers are plastics that are biodegradable/compostable and of complete
natural origin. Using biopolymers in stead of normal plastics is not only
better for getting less waste/pollution, but also for animals and the rest
of the environment! (see the link 'Bioplastics by S.N. Jogdana', Research
Category, for a great Report!)
The site is not finished yet, actually it will never be, because there's
happening a lot in this field... So help us become the best starting point
for information about biopolymers and send in those press releases and
links related to services, products or materials concerning biopolymers, or
even sponsor biopolymer.net!
Thanks in advance,
Roger van Erven, biopolymer.net
