Amanda,
The document to which you refer is I think "Satatutory Sick Pay Manual for
employers" - booklet CA30 - It used to be published by Contributions Agency
of DSS, which is now part of Inland Revenue
Data you want is on page 66 (it is however VERY basic, and of no value to OH
professionals)
http://www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/leaflets/nic.htm
will allow you to download the latest version as pdf
You may also want to look at DSS site for IB204 - "Medical Evidence for
SSP...A Guide for Registered Medical Practitioners"
http://www.dss.gov.uk/publications/dss/2000/medical/index.htm
This page is index to the whole document as separate html pages.
It was formerly produced by Conributions Agency of DSS, which is now part of
Inland Revenue
Incidentally DSS website has IB204 - "Medical Evidence for SSP etc. - A
Guide for Registered Medical Practitioners"

Subject: DSS Recommended Absence Lengths
I heard a rumour about a document that gives recommended sickness absence
lengths following standard treatments. It is apparently a DSS document but
our local DSS didnt know anything about it. Anyone got a proper reference,
used it etc.
