Amazingly, there are no references to Humphrey Davey on the National
Register of Archives, <http://www.hmc.gov.uk/nra/simple.htm>.
The only references in those of this department's catalogues that are
on-line, <http://www.llgc.org.uk:81/isysmenu.htm>, come from the diary
of Lewis Weston Dillwyn (1778-1855) of Penlle'r-gaer, Glamorgan, for
Dec. 1822:
> Wednesday 18. Drove Dr Wollaston to meet
> Sir Humphrey Davey at the Hafod Copper Works.
>
> Monday 23. Jo. Traherne and I set out on our
> return to Penllergare and left Dr Wollaston to
> proceed towards London at 12 by the Merthyr
> Coach. Sir Humphrey Davey came on a visit.
