For those of us who have had to come into work today how about
some light diversion. This week's BMJ has a feature from many well-

Why don't lis-medical readers do the same? (this is the nearest
we've got to frivolous all year - and besides think how it will irritate all
those who have finished for the year but not unsubscribed from lis-
medical! when they come back in January) .

Why start at birth, why not conception? - the Beach Boys "I get
around" was the (only) memorable scene from the film Look Who's
Talking Too - has to be seen to be appreciated.
