3. Am adding links to the PubMed tutorials on the Medline section of
the hcis page within the next few days.
4. Science 2 south reading room at St Pancras now has CINAHL and
BNI on CDROM *but* stock of nursing journals on site is limited-
last year of issues only and small range (held in Science 2
North). We are working on this.. More available off site, but
needs a couple of days to arrive.
Usual conditions for readers pass apply. Nurses/PAMS who aren't
on undergrad/postgrad courses come into the 'business use'
section. Best thing to take to Readers Admissions (as well as ID
with their signature), is a letter on headed paper from their
manager saying that they work there and need access to these
resources and dont have it elsewhere. Also helps if indication
if this is a one off need or likely to be ongoing (influences
length of pass). Reading room phone no for queries is 020 7412
7288. Direct url for reader admission criteria:
http://www.bl.uk/information/portrao2.html
NB Document Supply Centre reading room (Wetherby, W Yorks) has
CINAHL but not BNI. No pass needed. Further details: phone 01937
546070.
