Can anyone help? This is a further question from a non-librarian colleague
who has found himself in charge of setting up a small library:
>Basically we have a very small amount of money to buy books -perhaps
>$300. Our problem is that due to Romanian Law, we can only pay for
>services/publications in the local currency - ie the Lei - and yet the
>Lei will not be accepted internationally. The only way for us to
>practically buy these books is therefore by money transfer which incurs
>a big bank charge. Does anyone know of a way around this? Does anyone
>know perhaps of a Romanian Company which imports Western books?
>Many thanks,
>David Sinclair
