This should take our minds off the interesting Elle discussion...
Apparently, some worthy figure in modern literature, or from the
journalistic world, had written or stated that... "If you want to
consider yourself as a world traveller you ought at least to have
visited Haparanda, Timbuktu, and Samarkand..." Can anyone shed
any light on who this modern worthy might have been ?
