Bielefeld 2000 Conference
Value added Gateways to Global Information
- Optimizing End-user Services -
Dear Colleagues,
The Bielefeld Conference 2000 will once again provide an excellent
forum for the exchange of experience and ideas. It will bring together
experts from the fields of information technology, the publishing
industry and libraries from here and abroad.
Out of our programme you can take the main topics, like the comparison
between European and American information strategies. Together with
the Hochschulbibliothekszentrum NRW (College Library Center of the
state of North Rhine-Westphalia) we would like to introduce you into
the progress of our Infoport Gateway.
The main players of the information industry are participating in the
Conference and are open for discussion. More than 30 exhibitors are
looking forward to meet you:
- Library systems
- Companies specialising in Gateway-technology and digitisation
- Manufacturers of electronic products
- Library consortia
- Information and communication technology suppliers
- Information centres and other hosts
- Leading publishers with electronic publications
- information databases and fulltexts
- Subscription agencies
- Online-booksellers.
In contrast to similar events, participation at the Bielefeld 2000
Conference is free-of-charge. If you have not registered already, you
can still do so by contacting us at:
http://www.ub.uni-bielefeld.de/aktuell/2000conf/prog-eng.htm
or by fax: 0049 -(0) 521 - 1064052
We are looking forward to welcome you as visitors at the Conference.
Yours sincerely
Dr. K. W. Neubauer
