Just popped along to have a look Ian. Crashed my browser (Netscape 4.7)
first time I tried it. Once you can get in and find some material, it's
quite useful, but it's the getting of it that's difficult. As you say,
it's not intuitive or user friendly and quite frankly I'm not going to
spend my time faffing around clicking buttons for ten minutes to get
what I'm after; there are plenty of other resources that do the same job
much more quickly and effectively.
Shame though, because there does appear to be good stuff on the site.
Rgds, Phil Bradley
I'm including it in our webpage of resources, but with a warning that one
should *definitely* try other things first. I'm amazed it only crashed
Phil's
browser once; every time I try to choose a subcategory it gives the "data
resulted from a POST operation and has expired from the cache" message,
which
is enormously irritating. As he says, there's good information there if you
can
get at it, but they need to debug it and improve their front end a hell of a
lot.
Maybe the writers are all so bright they forgot about Keeping It Simple?
