      Offers a selection of tutorials on web searching
      techniques. Also provides a listing of directories of
      search engines, information on web resources which search
      engines cannot access, and resources for webmasters aimed
      at achieving high search engine rankings.
 Internet Acceptable Use Policies
      Examines the process of developing an Internet acceptable
      use policy within a library environment. Addresses the need
      for such a policy, covers the principles of policy
      development, identifies the elements of an AUP, and looks
      at how library staff put the policy into practice.

 Witchcraft Bibliography Project
      Bibliographical index covering material on witchcraft in
      early modern Europe, searchable by topics such as

      practices, history of witchcraft, and the Salem witch
      trials.

 Top 50 Financial Websites
      Offers a listing of the 50 best finance related Internet
      resources, as rated by the US magazine 'Money'. Material is
      grouped into three broad categories incorporating general
      finance portals, investing, and saving and spending. Brief
      annotations accompany each entry.
 Connecting Legal
      Gateway to UK legal resources featuring directories of
      solicitors, barristers, accountants, surveyors, and legal
      service providers. Also offers details of courses in a
      range of legal disciplines, legal news, journals, and
      listings of law books and publishers.
 FreeLawyer.co.uk: Legal Solutions Online
      Interactive legal advice relating to issues in England and
      Wales, and covering aspects of family, motoring, personal
      injury, housing, employment, and consumer law. Provides a
      Tailored Legal Information Sheet based on user responses to
      set questions, a search facility for locating law firms,
      and resources designed to help estimate fees and create
      documents.
 COSLA: Convention of Scottish Local Authorities
      Information about the organisation which collectively
      represents local government in Scotland, and provides a
      forum for discussion of matters of common concern. Includes
      the agenda and minutes of leaders' meetings, weekly
      briefings on Scottish Parliament activity, and an archive
      of COSLA press releases.
 Dot-Coms: What Have We Learned
      Series of articles from Fortune magazine which examine the
      rise and fall of the dot-com phenomena in the USA, arguing
      that the experience has been an experiment in new ways of
      starting, managing, and investing in companies. Features
      interviews with individuals who were involved in company
      start-ups, some who made fortunes, others who left the
      industry, and some who remain in the Internet sector.

 Physics of Sound

      A collection of essays providing information relating to
      the quality and properties of the semi-precious stone,

 Queensland Museum Explorer
      Information on home and garden spiders of south-east
      Queensland with details of features, habitat, range,
      likelihood of biting, and appropriate treatments. A special
      section on the Redback Spider is also provided, along with
      a searchable database that enables spiders to be identified
      according to the shape of their webs.
 Wolf Society of Great Britain
      Disseminates factual knowledge about the character and
      habitat needs of wolves, as well as the conservation of the
      animals worldwide, with particular emphasis on European
      countries where small populations of wolves still remain.
      Features a history of the wolf in Britain, presents the
      arguments surrounding re-introduction of the wolf into

      Situated in Aberdeenshire, this gallery is dedicated to the
      work of Scottish contemporary artists. Background

      works are represented by outdoor or indoor sculpture, and
      paintings by other housed artists.
 Architects Online
