      Images of iconography dedicated to Saint Sebastian, which
      are catergorised by type into paintings, sculptures,

 How Much Information?
      Attempts to measure the annual production of information
      content by storage media type. Coverage includes print
      resources, film, optical and magnetic storage, the
      Internet, and broadcast media. Estimates total production
      at around 250 megabytes for every human on earth, and
      argues that digital information accounts for the vast
      majority, with print documents only making up 0.003 percent
      of the total quantity produced. Concludes that better
      understanding and tools are required to make use of the
      ever-increasing supply of information, and to avoid total
      information overload.

      Collection of resources dealing with many aspects of

      to as China's Churn, is predicted to escalate as China

      set to become the second largest economy in the world.

 1780-1914
      Provides information on archives around the world which
      contain records of foreign investment in Spain between 1780
      and 1914. Outlines the importance of such investment to
      Spain, and offers an alphabetical list of investors with
      background information and details of particular companies.
 Economics of Civil Wars, Crime, and Violence
      Project studying the economic causes and consequences of
      civil war and violent crime in developing countries.
      Outlines the motivation underlying the project, sets out

 European Bureau for Lesser Used Languages
      Promotion and protection of the linguistic rights of
      regional, minority, and non territorial languages within
      the European Union member states. Information includes
      EBLUL's policy statements, current projects, and registered

      numbers of current speakers, and representation within
      public services, the media, and education. Available in
      English and French.
 Tetun
      Examines the Tetun language spoken by over 300,000 people
      in many parts of East and West Timor. Audio files

 TWLL: The Welsh Learner's Links
      Collection of Welsh language resources catering for
      learners of all abilities. Information includes a

      A monthly magazine documenting astronomical observations
      for the 'advanced amateur'. A useful source for extensive
      images, material covers asteroids, comets, and planets.
      Access to other relevant astronomy resources is also

      information.
 Virtual Reality Moon Phase Pictures
      Enables the user to display a virtual reality image of the

 Black Holes: The Death of a Star
      Provides an introduction to the black hole phenomena,
      including the formation of singularities. Also outlines the
      physical properties of black holes, and examines the
      connection between them and the theory of relativity.
 International Coloured Gemstone Association
      Educational resource to promote the understanding,
      appreciation, and sale of gemstones worldwide. Gems and
      information pertaining to them, such as cut and location,
      are searchable alphabetically, by variety or by colour.
      Additional information is provided by articles on the likes
      of rare gems, how to judge the quality of gems and

      Information pertaining to the natural resources of the
      Amazon Rainforest, with a tropical plant database that is
      searchable by common name, botanical name, or ailment.
      Information is then given on use of substances and
      remedies, together with an extensive image gallery, and
      details of environmental issues relating to the Rainforest,
      such as its destruction and preservation.
 Butterflies 2000: On the Wings of Freedom
      Educational resource on butterflies directed at schools, in
      either English, German, or Chinese translation. Includes
      image close-ups of the anatomical structure of butterflies,
      and general information covering the likes of
      metamorphosis, defence, and eating habits. Also features
      factual information about butterfly behaviour such as
      getting drunk on the juice of rotten fruit, and the human
      fascination with them expressed through art, music,
      literature, and design.
 UK Moths
      Collection of moth images from different areas in the
      United Kingdom. Images are searchable by name or by index
      numbers taken from 'A Recorder's Log Book or Label List of

 Fiona's Shark Mania
      Collection of sources relevant to the study of sharks, with
      information on press coverage, specific classifications of
      sharks, and image galleries, as well as an extensive list
      of additional resources such as organisations, statistical
      data, projects, and articles.
 Equindex
      Searchable index of horse related Internet resources,
      providing links to information about horse shippers and
      haulers, racing fixtures, pedigree skills, and a selection
      of images of thoroughbred mares.

      Full records of patents registered around the world,
      displaying recently acquired entries and an archive of many
      more. Some of the more unusual inventions include a

      device.
 WWW Virtual Library: Stress
      Collection of links to resources relating to aspects of
      stress. Coverage includes books and publishers, email lists
      and newsgroups, electronic and print journals, professional
      organisations, and resources concerned with stress
      management.
 Fertilitext
      Offers resources for couples experiencing difficulty in
      conceiving a baby, and those considering fertility
      treatment. Provides information on improving chances of
      becoming pregnant, fertility treatment options, male
      fertility, conception after 35, and secondary infertility.
      Also features a fertility glossary. Coverage is generally
      US-focused, though has international relevance.

      Provides access to information on genetically modified
      food, which includes UK and worldwide press releases,
      foodstuffs connected to GM research, companies and their
      policies towards the production and sale of GM foods, as

 IFOAM: International Federation of Organic Agricultural
 Movements
      Concerned with the dissemination of information to promote
      a worldwide holistic approach to the principles of organic
      farming. Resources provide access to basic standards of
      crop production, aquaculture, genetic engineering, and
      animal husbandry. Additional information includes press
      releases and reports, worldwide statistics, and the IFOAM
      comments on the proposed US Department of Agriculture rule.
 Organicfood.co.uk
      Online magazine promoting the use of organic foods and
      knowledge of a healthier lifestyle. Resources include a
      news archive of relevant issues from around the world,
      reasons to use organic foods, a searchable database of
      retailers, and information on herbs and their medicinal
      qualities.
 Pumpkins and More
      Explains the origin of the name 'pumpkin', describes
      historical uses, and offers details of different varieties
      available. Also gives nutritional information, recipe
      ideas, a guide to growing the vegetable, and links to
      educational resources, festivals, and farms.

 Glenn Gould Archive
      Offers information on the archives of the Canadian concert
      pianist Glenn Gould (1932-1982) with a virtual exhibition
      of his archive papers, samples of audio holdings from the

      papers, and a selection of research aids such as a Gould
      chronology, bibliography, and discographic database. Also

      Explains and illustrates the coefficients and ranking
      system used by the European football governing body to
      determine qualification and seedings for its major club
      tournaments. Features a listing of the latest data, updated
      after each round of matches.

 Powys Digital History Project
      Archive documents, photographs and early maps, which
      chronicle the local history of six counties in the mid
      Wales county of Powys. Provides information on the themes
      of crime and punishment, education and schools, religion in
      Wales, and care of the poor. Also covers Hendomen: the
