CoFHE (Colleges of Further and Higher Education Group of
the Library Association) North West Branch are holding
their Summer Seminar on the theme of the 'Switched On
Campus'
Speakers include Meg Gain (BECTA), Mary Barton (NILTA) and
Linda Taylor/Paul Capewell (Liverpool Hope University
College)who will be examing good practice in the
exploitation of information and learning technologies in
further and higher education libraries . Afternoon
'breakout sessions will allow delegates to explore such
issues as the management of electronic journals, DNER and
the implications for Further Education, library services
for distance learners, peer review and evaluation of
library and information services and NILTA (National
Information Learning Technologies Association)
This Summer seminar will be held in the Harold Cohen
Library, Liverpool University on Thirsday 29th June 2000
commencing at 10.00am. Price £50
