      Provides an overview of the VBScript program which spread

 CoolText.com: Online Graphics Generator
      Free software resource facilitating the design of logos,
      buttons, and bullets. On selection of a font, style, size,
      and colour, a customised graphic will be created which can
      then be saved and used on a personal Web page.

      Collection of software for use with the Macintosh operating

 Digital Toolbox
      Information about a set of software applications designed
      to facilitate the creation of digital resources. Covers
      HTML, MS PowerPoint, MS FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
      Acrobat (PDF), Macromedia Flash, and Macromedia Shockwave,
      and offers tips on how to locate images, sounds, and video
      for use on personal Web pages. Bibliographic details of
      related titles held at the university library are listed.

 Interviews 50 Cents
      Reports on a series of spontaneous interviews conducted by
      producer Ray Farkas and reporter Alex Chadwick who
      travelled around America using a handmade sign to invite
      people to share their stories. Footage is available as

 Educational Recording Agency Licensing Scheme
      The ERA Licensing Scheme enables educational establishments

 Oz Encyclopedia
      Provides an insight into the make-believe land of Oz
      created by L. Frank Baum, offering information about books,
      characters, and places from the stories. Also lists
      production details of the Oz movies from 1939 to 1979
      including The Wizard Of Oz, Return To Oz, Fantasia 3, The
      Wiz, and Number 13, an experimental film never to be
      completed or released.

 Polish Language Course
      Provides basic information about the Polish language
      covering the alphabet, pronunciation of individual vowels

      and changing sounds before certain consonants. Brief notes

      A collection of resources covering subjects including the

 Terra: The EOS Flagship
      Daily image reports from Terra, a NASA satellite launched
      to investigate interrelationships in the Earth system
      between land, ocean, atmosphere, and life. Data gathered
      will enable future climate changes to be predicted,
      allowing us to prepare effectively for the future.
 Willo: The Dinosaur with a Heart
      Information about the discovery of the fossilised heart of
      a small herbivore called a Thescelosaurus which revealed a
      structure more like that of a bird or a mammal than a
      reptile, suggesting that some dinosaurs had high metabolic
      rates. Includes images of the 3-D reconstruction of the
      dinosaur's chest cavity.
 Plant Kingdom: An Introduction to the World of Plants from an

      A list of answers to common questions posed to the National
      Marine Fisheries Service. Covers fish species,
      classification, survival, dangerous sea creatures, and a
      range of other marine animals such as lobsters, crabs,
      clams, sea turtles, and whales. Also provides links to sets
      of marine life and oceanographic facts.
 AmphibiaWeb
      Database of amphibian biology and conservation containing
      species descriptions, photographs, life history
      information, and references to related literature.
      Describes the recent decline in the frog population
      worldwide and suggests why so many species are becoming
      extinct.
 Living Links
      Centre investigating similarities between apes and humans
      in relation to social life, ecology, cognition, neurology,
      and molecular genetics. Provides a dictionary of
      hyperlinked terms, research topics, and a series of sounds
      illustrating noises made by apes, human interviews, and
      video clips showing chimpanzee conflict, food sharing, and
      the bushmeat crisis.

      information about traditional usage, warnings, biochemical
      details, descriptions of preparation methods, and images
      for each herb. Also offers an alphabetical listing of
      species' common and scientific names.
 Greek Cuisine
      Searchable collection of traditional Greek recipes with
      instructions on how to prepare appetisers, soups, sauces

 Jackson Pollock: 1912-1956
      Describes the life and work of Jackson Pollock, the
      controversial postmodern painter who adopted an unusual and
      physically involved technique to smear, spatter, and drip

 National Portrait Gallery
      Collection of paintings, drawings, miniatures, sculptures,
